The number of jobs advertised nationally fell by 5% last month with NSW falling by just over 10%.
The states of Western Australia and South Australia maintained levels of employment with Western Australia rising 0.1% attributed to the mining industry.
Future job and employment advertising will depend on the performance of the economy and the future recovery of New South Wales.
Job Ads Decreasing
Job and employment advertising has been in a continual decline since December 2007. With the slowing economy and shrinking finance sector, job losses are expected in resource, mining services and finance sectors.
