ANZ cuts Home Loan Mortgage Interest Rates

Australian Bank, ANZ, has lowered its fixed home loan mortgage rate 0.7% to take effect from 20th October.


This is the second interest rate reduction in past week making a total reduction of 1.5%.

The latest home loan mortgage rate reduction matches similar reductions anounce earlier by the National, Wespac and Commonwealth Banks.

Further interest rate cuts by the are a possibility as the world's economy declines and unemployment rises.
